Happy Halloween

It is once again one of my favorite times of the year! Halloween! Nothing caps off my day like coming home and lighting my pumpkin spice candles! This holiday seems to never lose its excitement, for me anyway. I always loved Halloween growing up, my favorite costume was when I was I Dream of Jeanie. Arguably the best costume I've ever had! I loved carving the pumpkins, decorating the house with

Hello All! I know the title is a little cliche, but I am so excited that it is Friday. My big weekend plan is to go visit all of my family in Alabama for my Dad's 50th birthday party! With everyone's schedules so busy these days, it will be nice to see some of my extended family that I never get to see! And what better cause to celebrate, then my Dad's milestone bday? My brother, sister, and I

First, I’d like to thank Tate and Katie for giving me an opportunity to share with all of you. Talking with Tate one afternoon, we thought it would be great for me to guest blog here on my recent move to LSU and the changes that have been occurring in my realm of the cheer and dance world.

Sometimes we make decisions in our lives without always knowing what the future may hold for us. At times

Sister Appreciation!

Posted by: nfinityshoes in Untagged  on

Hey Everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful Monday! I know I am! I had the best weekend. My little sister came to stay with her big sis in Atlanta! We had the best time. I was able to take her around to a few of my favorite places to eat in the city, do some shopping, and even baked some seasonal goodies! The highlight of the weekend was definitely our Saturday, we had a full day. We

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! I know I did. I've decided I'm going to give some shout outs today to some of the people who helped make my weekend great!

First: Kennesaw State Women's Soccer team! The Lady Owls took on the Jacksonville Dolphins and picked up their first A-Sun win of the season! Senior forward, Rachel Baer scored the first goal 1:56 into the game. Freshamn

Ramble on...

  Hi all!

Thank goodness it's Friday! This has been a crazy, crazy week for me. Not that anything imparticular has happened to make it crazy, just the general silliness in my life. To forewarn everyone, I have nothing of substance to discuss today, more a desire to ramble on about things. Forgive me!?

First things first... baseball. I have a distinct feel that I am going to be very umpopular for

Hey guys, I have a question for everyone: Why do people lie? Or not even lie, but withold the truth? We've all done it. We've all had something to say to someone that was in no way cruel or damaging, but refused to discuss the matter until someone else brought it up, which they never do. It's frustrating!

My best friend and I are in an awkward kind of fight right now because of something I said

New friends

Posted by: rachela07 in Untagged  on

Hi everyone! My name is Rachel and I'm the new girl in the Nfinity family of vendors! I just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone, since you'll probably be hearing from me a lot. That being said, I'll keep this pretty short and sweet!

Like I said, I'm the new girl within the Nfinity family, but I'm also very new Georgia. I moved to Kennesaw four months ago. I'm originally from Phoenix, AZ and lived there for a year after I graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson (Go Wildcats!) in May 2007. I will be the first to admit that living in Phoenix stinks! It's hot and it seldom rains, but boy do we have fun with the humidity come late summer. Nothing is worse than 80%+ humidity when it's 110* outside! Luckily however, it seems to be an unwritten law that there needs to be a pool within 100 ft of every house. I spent a lot of my time outside and swam competitively in high school.

Despite my dislike for Phoenix, I loved living in AZ, especially in Tucson. The environment in the city and at Univ. of AZ is amazing. People are so creative and laid back. There are all kinds of interesting independent restaurants and stores to shop in and you never know where you are going to see bands playing live music or a movie on the side of an old church. There is so much to see around the state and if you ever get the chance, go. Sedona is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen & Tucson has all of the appeal of a big city, without any of the attitude!

Last December I flew out here for my oldest friend's graduation and fell in love instantly! Georgia is beautiful and so colorful! The people are friendly and easy going. I enjoy how much easier it is to make friends here because everyone is out going and loves to talk to strangers. The openness of people have made me feel comfortable here, which is great because I am so far away from my family who I love dearly and miss so much!

Aside from that, I'm a nothing more than a nerd! I'll take books and writing over watching TV any day of the week and I love music more than anything. In fact, don't be surprised if you often catch lyrics in my posts. Bonus points if you can identify the song!

Thanks for letting me ramble on for a bit and I look forward to getting to know everyone in the future!

Back To The Grill

Last week I told you about my favorite steak to grill - London Broil.  And every good piece of meat needs the perfect side dish to go with it, so here is my favorite grilled veggie recipe.

Take two good size pieces of yellow squash and zucchini, slice them into pieces about 1/4 thick.  Spread evenly across a large piece of tin foil.  Liberally spread virgin olive oil across them along with 3
