Nifnity Announces Christine Shelby as Volleyball Brand Manager

Nfinity Shoes, the first woman’s performance team sport footwear company, is growing its Volleyball business division.  Christine Shelby comes to Nfinity Shoes as Brand Manager of Volleyball.

“We are proud to welcome such an accomplished athlete and business woman to the Nfinity team,” says CEO Tate Chalk. “Through Christine’s experience managing volleyball product lines, she continually pushed the envelope as an innovator and market pioneer.”

Christine comes to Nfinity with over six years of Volleyball business experience with Mizuno USA - where she was the sole employee fully dedicated to Volleyball. During her years at Mizuno as an Assistant Business Unit Manager, she successfully grew the volleyball division to its current market leader position. Christine developed and managed the volleyball apparel, accessory, and bag product lines where she continually pushed the envelope as an innovator and market pioneer.  In addition, Christine worked with Volleyball Promotions where she developed close relationships with top collegiate and club programs as well as with USA Volleyball.

Christine has played volleyball for over 18 years. She began playing club volleyball with UNO Volleyball Club out of Joliet, IL.  During her 5 years with UNO, Christine garnered many accolades including:

1996 - Ranked one of the top 6 recruited players by Student Sports Magazine
1997 – Starting player on the Junior USA National “B” Team
1997 – USAV All-American

In 1997, Christine accepted a full scholarship to Georgia Tech and earned back-to-back Iron Athlete Awards, the Best Practice Player, and the Coach’s Award. Christine’s years at Georgia Tech culminated in 2000 with an ACC Regular Season Championship and a trip to the NCAA tournament.
